care that goes Deeper
While all endodontists are dentists, less than three percent of dentists qualify as endodontists.
These professionals undergo at least two years of additional training in biomedical studies, clinical studies, and advanced endodontic courses. This training helps them identify the causes of tooth pain, perform root canal procedures, and treat tooth trauma and injuries.
If you suffer from persistent tooth pain, or feel you might have an infection inside of your tooth, an endodontist will be able to present you with a clearer picture of what is actually happening and provide treatment that can often save your natural smile.

Learn more about Dr. PosnerWhat we do
Your tooth is more complex than you might think. While most of us just see the hard exterior enamel, there is also a soft inner layer of our teeth known as the pulp. When that soft tissue becomes inflamed or infected, it can threaten the health of your tooth. Root canal therapy addresses these issues by going inside the tooth, eliminating the bacteria, disinfecting the tooth, and then sealing it to prevent future infection. If you are in need of an endodontist North Palm Beach endodontic experts at Orange Dental Partners will walk you through everything you need to know to put your mind at ease before your treatment.
Even with proper care, it is possible for treated teeth to require additional endodontic retreatment. This can happen if an endodontic infection returns, if the tooth is damaged after treatment, or if the tooth becomes cracked or fractured. At Orange Dental Partners, our experienced endodontists can evaluate your condition, determine the severity of the problem with the previously treated tooth (if any), and carefully address the cause of the issue. A new issue with a treated tooth can put the tooth at risk, even if work has already been done. Our thorough and methodical approach will provide excellent care before, during, and after retreatment.
While traditional root canal treatments are not considered surgery, there are times when an endodontist must perform surgery to properly treat your tooth. For example, your tooth may have hidden canals or tiny fractures that are undetectable using traditional methods. Orange Dental Partners offers state-of-the-art endodontic technology to give our providers accurate diagnostic data to help determine whether surgery is right for you. Should you require surgery, our endodontic surgeons have operating microscopes and other hi-tech surgical tools to ensure your surgery goes smoothly and as comfortably as possible.
Dental emergencies rarely happen when it is convenient. If a crown falls off or you suspect your tooth might be infected, you want to know what to do fast. Don’t worry! Orange Dental Partners is here to help. Our on-call solutions are available to get you in touch with an endodontic expert as quickly as possible. We also offer emergency consultations to get you in fast and get the care you need. When time is of the essence, Orange Dental Partners is here when you need us.
Your teeth are worth saving! Endodontists treat traumatic dental injuries, such as chipped teeth or teeth knocked out during sports injuries or accidents. These injuries require careful, immediate attention, as there may be damage to other teeth that is not immediately noticeable. If you or a loved one has suffered a traumatic dental injury, contact us immediately and we will take you through the steps to help you maximize your chances of protecting your dental health.
Orange Dental Partners understands how you feel about the prospect of dental pain. We feel it, too. That’s why we have multiple sedation treatment options available to help you get through your treatment without pain or anxiety, including nitrous oxide and oral sedation treatments. Don’t let dental anxiety keep you from getting the care you need to save your teeth!
Sedation TreatmentsBetter Tools for Better Outcomes
The mouth and teeth offer some of the most technically challenging environments to provide care.
Many potential problem areas are hidden and often microscopic, making them impossible to identify with the naked eye. At Orange Dental Partners, we have highly advanced imaging and treatment options to give us the best chance to solve your issue and save your teeth. For example, 3D imaging innovations like Cone Beam Computed Tomography provide us with highly accurate 3D representations of your teeth with less radiation than a standard chest X-Ray. We use endodontic microscopes to enhance visibility by up to 25x, allowing us to better diagnose and treat any endodontic conditions we discover.
